2015–ongoing

Beginning in 2015, I started painting in a large medical reference book that I had on hand. Eventually, I added a second and then a third book to the project. I have never kept a journal but I think the books function as a kind of visual diary in that there is a quasi-record of personal and historical events, as well as an ever-evolving experimentation of mark making, and shifts in style. It is not linear (I’m never linear!). To date there are three books in the series: pdr diary (red book), pdr diary (blue book), and pdr diary (supplement).
